Get in your doomsday bunker because Rovio has released a new game. That’s right, Casey’s Contraptions Amazing Alex is now available on both the Google Play Store and App Store. You’ve seen the trailers and now it’s time to see how much weight Rovio’s name carries.

When the Galaxy S III hit U.S. carriers, T-Mobile was apparently the only carrier who failed to get the pricing memo. Magenta gave their customers the shaft by pricing the Galaxy S III $80 higher than every other U.S. carrier. While everyone else was paying $199.99 for a brand new shiny Pebble Blue Galaxy S III, T-Mobile customers had to angst over whether or not to pay an inflated $279.99. Well angst no more my Magenta mob, Wirefly has you covered.

No sir, that’s not an Apple store you’re looking at, that there is a bona fide Samsung store. What looks like an episode of Punk’d, is actually Samsung’s first Canadian retail store in Metro Vancouver. This 140-square-metre store is located in Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown and offers a plethora of Samsung’s latest mobile devices, as well as demo stations to see how they function and interact with other Samsung products such as TVs.

The ninjas are back, but this time, their plans for unboxing Google’s Nexus 7 are foiled by Dr. Paul (aka UFC Champion Georges St-Pierre). If you’re not familiar with the ninja unboxings, they’re a sight to see. I’m not a UFC follower so this one is a little on the weird side for me, but we’ll let you be the judge.

Good news Android fans: tickets to the annual Big Android BBQ are now on sale! What’s the Big Android BBQ? Well… picture a backyard BBQ full of people who all share your affinity for Android and then multiply it by a googol. You spend countless hours reading Android blogs, listening to podcasts, and interacting via forums, hangouts, etc. and the Big Android BBQ is a way for us all to actually hang out, eat some great BBQ, and talk Android (or whatever else comes to mind).
