If you’re like me, you enjoy a good game or two (when you have time for it) and are always on the lookout for any new or interesting titles to play. Whether you like FPS games, puzzlers, or platformers, it can be quite a daunting task trying to choose from the hundreds of thousands of games available in the Google Play Store. One way to stumble across great games is to see what others are playing. I may not get as much time to play games as I’d like, but I can certainly share with you what games I do play. We all have different tastes and not all games will suit all people, but here’s a list of a few games I’ve been playing lately.

An updated version of the Google Play Store has been pushing out to devices, carrying with it a few nice additions. In this latest update, Google has listened to the cries of Android users and finally added the ability to remove items from the “All” apps list. If you’ve been thinking about picking up a Samsung Galaxy S III, you might want to consider hitting up your local Best Buy this Sunday. On October 14, customers can save $100 on their purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S III. The news release is very vague so that’s really all we have to go on. We’re not sure if the $100 off applies to both the subsidized and retail price or just one. If it’s off of the current subsidized price, then that would put the Galaxy S III at $99 and that’s one heck of a deal.

Shadowgun fans have been waiting almost a year for the release of the multi-player version DeadZone and now it’s finally here… well, sort of. MadFinger Games has released a public beta version of the game onto the Google Play Store in order to polish up network code, find bugs, and improve the basic gameplay experience. However, it is only compatible with Tegra 3 devices.

Verizon has come out and confirmed an October 18 launch date for the Motrola DROID RAZR HD and RAZR MAX HD. I’m expecting a full onslaught of marketing to accompany these devices as Verizon seems partial to the RAZR line. The next iteration of the RAZR line will feature similar specs, with the only distinguishable advantage being the larger battery and storage available in the RAZR MAXX HD (which I find lame of Motorola).
