Pandora

The popular radio application Pandora received a nifty update on Android this week, bringing a number of new features including lock screen controls. This is something the application had been lacking for a long time, and it previously made changing tracks an issue as you had to unlock your device and enter the Pandora application.

ATT-One-pre-orders

AT&T is to begin accepting pre-orders for the HTC One this week, according to a leaked company memo. The device will be available in black or white with 32GB of storage, and it will reportedly cost $249.99. There’s no mention of the exclusive 64GB device, however.

Google-Play-on-HTC-One-XL

If you have an older HTC smartphone, you’ve probably been itching to get your hands on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 since HTC announced the flagship One earlier this year. The Taiwanese company has already confirmed that an update will be made available to a number of existing devices, but it hasn’t yet confirmed when it will arrive.

According to one source, you can expect it to hit the HTC One X around June or July.

Samsung-Galaxy-S41

If you’re upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S4 later this month, but you’re worried you may have to give up some of your tweaks and custom ROMs until it gets rooted, then worry no more. The eight-core Exynos 5 Octa version of the device has already been rooted before it even goes on sale.

Amazon updated its Cloud Drive app for Android today with the ability to sync files directly to desktop computers from Android devices, bringing true cross platform capabilities to this Dropbox and Google Drive competitor.
