The new Nexus 7 won’t get its official unveiling until later today during an Android event with Sundar Pichai, but thanks to Best Buy, we already know all there is to know about the new 7-inch slate — including what it will look like, and its full list of specifications. Google’s Sundar Pichai will host an Android event in San Francisco today, where we expect to see Android 4.3 and the new Nexus 7 get their official unveilings. But the latter has already been put up for pre-order at Best Buy and Sam’s Club, where its price tag and specifications are confirmed.

The Mini is the smallest of three new Motorola devices, featuring a 4.3-inch 720p LCD display, compared to its brothers the Ultra and the Maxx which both feature a 5-inch OLED screen.

Samsung on the other hand reported that it made $8.33 billion in profit during the same quarter.
Apple reported a profit of $8.8 billion and $35 billion in revenue in the third quarter of 2012, so profit is still down and revenue growth is flat. The company’s year-over-year net profit shrank for the first time in a decade last quarter.
