Motorola’s DROID Mini has certainly turned a few heads; it is the most affordable and compact high-end ‘mini’ device on the market, but when it was announced yesterday, it seems that in all the excitement the manufacturer actually forgot to inform us of most of its specifications − so here they are.

The Mini is the smallest of three new Motorola devices, featuring a 4.3-inch 720p LCD display, compared to its brothers the Ultra and the Maxx which both feature a 5-inch OLED screen.

It also offers a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 10-megapixel rear-facing camera, 16GB of built-in memory, and a 2,130mAh battery. All of these specifications make for a pretty impressive high-end Android smartphone, in the rapidly expanding ‘mini’ category.

The Mini weighs in at 140.1 grams, and measures 122.1mm x 61.2mm x 8.6mm, meaning the handset is a relatively light and maintains a perfect candy bar form factor; which easily fits in your pocket and is perfect for day-to-day life.

The device is available to purchase for $99 on one of Verizon’s 2-year contracts, starting at $40 (per month) for unlimited minutes, texts and 300MB of data.
