Deals on top-tier phones have been abundant lately and Amazon seems to be swimming in them. Another doozy from Amazon has the HTC Rezound for an amazing $79.99. Of course that’s with a a new 2-year contract, but if you’re looking to upgrade, it’ll still only cost you $159. This is a great deal for a phone that just recently received a nice update as well as an unlockable bootloader.


It looks like the US will soon have its hands on Samsung’s illustrious 5.3″ phonetablet. Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Note will hit AT&T February 19, with pre-orders starting February 5th. The Galaxy Note will run you $299 on contract and will be available in carbon blue and ceramic white.


Motorola hasn’t quite opened up to the idea of unlockable bootloaders as many would have hoped, but their latest announcement shows that at least they aren’t completely “closed” to the concept. Today Motorola announced a “Developer Edition” RAZR for Europe that will feature an unlockable/relockable bootloader along with all the usual RAZR goodies. They also announced that a developer device would be coming soon to the US but no specifics were given.


It’s been about 3 weeks since Sprint announced that the Galaxy Nexus would debut as the first LTE device to take advantage of Sprint’s new LTE network. While we haven’t heard much about it since then, today gives us a hint that we may be getting very close to launch time. Yahoo has decided to do some pre-Spring cleaning and has announced they will no longer be supporting their lesser used apps. This may make some of you Yahoo app addicts sad, but for the rest of us, I’m sure we won’t mind. Yahoo has stated that as the mobile space moves at an insane rate, they too must keep up with what users want and are looking for in today’s market. That’s why they have decided to cease support of the following apps in order to make room for the future:
