Normally $4.99, Real Racing 2, with its critically-acclaimed racing simulation, has been providing countless hours of gameplay to Android users across the globe, and at its newly discounted price, EA is hoping to attract even more users to the franchise before releasing the highly anticipated Real Racing 3.

When AT&T dropped the price of the HTC One X to $99, I didn’t think it could get much better. I guess I was wrong. It’s only been a few days and we’re already seeing two retailers outdo AT&T’s amazing price. Both Amazon Wireless and Costco are now offering the HTC One X for an incredible $79.99 to both new customers and current customers with an upgrade.

Yesterday, U.S. electronics retailer, Negri Electronics, tweeted a picture of a freshly unboxed Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with the message “Ships 8/3 #BeforeFirst.” The message wasn’t very specific and sent confused Android fans clamoring about looking for answers. A venture over to the Negri site reveals they, in fact, have the yet to be officially announced Galaxy Note 10.1 up for pre-order. Unlike their tweet, the site makes no mention of the August 3rd shipping date.

A Samsung spokesman has confirmed to Reuters that the next Galaxy Note, will in fact, be unveiled at their Unpacked event later this month. The event, which will take place in Berlin on August 29th, will set the tone for this year’s IFA and will coincidentally happen a couple weeks prior to the rumored iPhone 5 debut.
