Google Calendar is bringing your appointments and to-do list together with a new update that adds support for reminders. Calendar will display your tasks and to-dos alongside meetings and events so they’re harder to forget, and sync them across Inbox, Gmail, Google Keep, and Google Now.

Google’s Android 6.0.1 update is rolling out today, packing a whole bunch of new emoji and new features. This release also tweaks the user interface on tablets, and brings back the “until next alarm” option for Do Not Disturb.

Dropbox has announced that it is killing its Carousel and Mailbox apps in early 2016.

The company says it will use what it has learned from these products to improve its core Dropbox service, and to increase its focus on Paper, the tool that allows you to create new documents and collaborate on them in real-time in the cloud.

Google has promised to release software updates that will address a color issue on its latest Nexus devices. The Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Nexus Player have all suffered washed-out colors with the latest version of Android — but only while watching video.

Despite being 14 months old now, the Galaxy Note 4 has become Samsung’s first smartphone to get an Android 6.0 upgrade. One variant of the device is now getting Marshmallow firmware that includes features like Doze, Google Now on Tap, and new app permissions.
