Twitch-Android

The official Twitch app for Android has been updated to finally add the ability to log into your Twitch account and view the people you’re following. What’s more, after you’ve logged in once, the app will remember your details and automatically sign you in when you open the app.

Vine for Android received a pretty neat update on Friday night, bringing with it some much-needed performance optimizations, Facebook sharing, and the ability to clear your local cache.

A lot was unveiled during Google I/O 2013, including a new section of Google Play primarily designed for education apps. Google Play for Education is a program designed to get Nexus tablets into education facilities and provide a dedicated app store offering education-based apps to fill those tablets with.

Samsung is holding a press event in London later on today, and it has a number of new devices up its sleeve for both Android and Windows Phone fans. While the Korean company has already announced a slew of devices this year, it is by no means finished just yet.

You don’t have to be at the event to watch it all unfold, however, because Samsung is live-streaming the whole thing on the Internet.

Skype-video-messaing

Skype has announced that it will be taking its new video messaging feature out of its “preview” phase and making it a permanent fixture inside its Android, iOS, BlackBerry, and desktop clients as of today. The feature will be available to all users with a Skype free or premium account.
