Verizon’s 12-day “DROID Does” sale is winding down and there’s only 4 days left to take advantage of the numerous DROID phones on sale for $9.99. While I’m sure Verizon is doing this to clear out some stock, it’s still a good deal for anyone looking to pick up a solid device on the cheap. Verizon is offering up the 4G LTE Samsung DROID Charge, the DROID 3, DROID Incredible 2, and DROID X2 all for $9.99 on a new 2-year contract. Not bad considering these devices retail for $400+.

Verizon today announced a list of devices they expect to receive the Android 4.0 update. Many manufacturers have already confirmed this information but it’s always nice to hear it straight from a carriers mouth. While no official dates have been given, the list includes devices from HTC, Motorola, Samsung and LG. You can find the full list after the break so stay tuned to see if your Verizon device was given the thumbs up from Big Red.

This 3800mAh behemoth will certainly get the power user through the day, but you’ll look like Zach Morris doing it.

Leap year comes but every four years and what better way to celebrate than with $100 off a 4G LTE device on Verizon. That’s exactly what Verizon is offering in their Leap Year Promo which will be running all day today. This deal is online only and discounts all 4G LTE devices by $100 for anyone signing up for a new 2-year contract and data plan. New customers will also be able to take advantage of Verizon’s double data promo which offers double the data allotment when you sign up for a data plan of 2GB or higher.

Mobile customers have been waiting for what seems like forever for family shared data. One carrier that’s been slowly working on making it happen is Verizon. Not to long ago we saw leaked training material from Verizon that showed they were gearing up for some sort of family shared data plan. We now have a better idea of when to expect these changes as Verizon’s Communication CFO Fran Shammo spoke about them in an investors meeting yesterday.
