KitKat 10

During an AMA on Reddit, the HTC U.S. Product Team announced that the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for both the One Max and One Mini is already in development and should start rolling out as early as March for the Max and April for the Mini.

AT&T is currently pushing out a relatively minor over-the-air stability update to all its carrier-branded LG G2 handsets located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring any major software modifications, such as Android 4.4.2, but it does include ‘FOTA enhancement to support future updates’, in addition to several Google optimizations which we assume will help to pave the way for the much anticipated chunky KitKat update.

Motorola is currently pushing out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to all the unlocked variants of its flagship smartphone, the Moto G, in the United States. The upgrade is a relatively minor bump up from 4.4, and doesn’t pack much in terms of new functionality, but it does bring a multitude of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations, in addition to the implementation of Google’s Cloud Print service.

HTC has officially started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 update to all its factory unlocked and Developer Edition models of its flagship smartphone, the HTC One, currently located in the United States. In addition to the hefty bump up from Jelly Bean to KitKat, this particular upgrade brings a newer version of the Sense 5.5 user interface, as well as a multitude of bug fixes, speed optimizations and stability improvements.

According to reports we’ve received from many loyal readers, Motorola has just started seeding the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 firmware update to all dual-SIM variants of the Moto G currently situated in Malaysia. This upgrade is exactly the same build as the one that was rolled out to the single-SIM model two weeks ago, and brings the latest version of KitKat with Project Svelte optimizations, as well as a multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.
