HTC has announced on their Facebook page that thier initial upgrade process of bringing Ice Cream Sandwich to HTC devices will begin towards the end of March. In their statement they go on to list the first HTC devices to be upgraded as well as devices set to be updated later in the year. Google seemed to be on an update kick today as they updated a number of their apps. These apps included: Google Maps, Google Listen, Google Goggles, and the Youtube Remote. I’m sure you guys use the majority of those so I’ll outline what’s new in each app for you after the break.


We reported on the good news of Sprint and HTC removing Carrier IQ from the HTC EVO 3D yesterday, but what would you say if I told you HTC has confirmed that Sprint will be phasing out Carrier IQ completely. I’m guessing the first thing you’ll do is remove that silly tinfoil hat from your head, then perhaps go outside again. Kidding aside, we knew this was coming, and it’s nice to see some confirmation on the subject.


Adobe may have stopped development on its mobile Flash but it certainly hasn’t stopped updating it to ensure compatibility and security. Both Adobe Flash and AIR received updates today, bringing with them bug fixes, enhancements, and compatibility fixes for Android 4.0.
