Over the past two weeks, HTC has been pushing out the Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5 update to its HTC One X and One X+ in Taiwan, and now the Happy Telephone Company has started to roll out exactly the same upgrade over-the-air to all One X and One X+ handsets located in the U.K.

Yesterday, Google sent out an email to all third-party Android developers, informing them that significant changes have been made to the Google Play Developer Program. The alterations affect apps as well as the advertising practices that they use.

AT&T has rolled out quite a major update today on Google Play for customers who use its myAT&T application. This upgrade includes a brand new revamped UI, multiple account support, and AutoPay for U-verse and Home Phone/Internet subscribers.

A pesky multitouch bug affecting the new Nexus 7 is no more, thanks to a new software update that is being rolled out by Google this week. There were concerns that the problem may have been related to hardware — given that it didn’t affect all Nexus 7 tablets — but the “JSS15J” release that’s being issued over-the-air promises to eliminate it.

It also addresses an issue with GPS sensitivity, too.

Google is pushing out a silent over-the-air update to all its Chromecast units, bringing some much-needed bug fixes and optimizations.

Chromecast has now been upgraded to version 12940, which introduces “better discovery of Chromecast devices,” as well as “improvements to stability when using Google Play Movies.”
