However, after a year and a half of inactivity, Verizon has officially announced that it has started rolling out a security update for those who are still using this somewhat outdated device.

As of today, Sony is pushing out a standard maintenance update for its Xperia S, SL, and Acro S handsets to fix a wide variety of reported issues based on user feedback.
