1Password-Android

AgileBits has teased a much-need update for its Android app that will bring a fresh new look and presumablyh new features. The last time 1Password for Android was updated was January 2012, and it’s aged a heck of a lot since then, falling way behind its Mac and iOS counterparts.

HTC-One-Android-4-2-2

The HTC One’s Android 4.2.2 update has begun its rollout in the United Kingdom, HTC confirmed today. It was first spotted in China and Taiwan earlier this month, then began hitting parts of Europe on around July 6. Now Brits have the opportunity to get in on the updating action.

Chrome for Android has received a pretty solid update, bringing you the ability to now view webpages in fullscreen mode on your tablets as well as your smartphones, built-in translation for websites in different languages and a new and improved interface for right-to-left languages.

Vine for Android Header

Twitter-owned Vine was updated today on Android, bringing it closer to parity with the social media company’s recently updated iOS app. You’ll now have new camera tools, the ability to “revine” a post (similar to re-tweeting), access new Channels, and a brand new Capture Widget.

The new widget is designed to get you faster access to your Vine recording ability, shaving precious seconds off your launch of the Vine app.

Skype-Android-HD

Skype overhauled its Android app with a new user interface and a number of new features last week. And following lots of user feedback, the company has just rolled out another release. This one fixes a number of frustrating problems, and makes the sign-out process easier.
