While everyone else is looking forward to the high-end HTC One X, T-Mobile is expecting the middle child HTC One S in a couple weeks. According to leaked internal slides, the HTC One S is set to launch April 25th and continues the trend of T-Mobile’s lackluster offerings. While the One S certainly isn’t a bad device, it’s not the One X, and it would have been nice if T-Mobile was carrying both.

T-Mobile has sort of faded away ever since they attempted to join the dark side but they’re slowly climbing back into customers good graces. Today they detailed their plans to update a couple of HTC devices to Android’s latest and greatest Ice Cream Sandwich. HTC Amaze 4G and Sensation owners can expect to have their devices updated to Android 4.0 according to T-Mobile support documents posted online. It looks to be running a custom UI on top of Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) and will be available with or without the slide-out keyboard.

Over at XDA they even had a running bounty for the first person to successfully get the AT&T Galaxy Note running on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. It didn’t take that long before user tomin.fhl found a way to get it working and he’s been kind enough to post the instructions for any brave soul willing to take the plunge.
