Next Line Of myTouch Devices To Come From Huawei

The mid-range affordable myTouch series has passed hands a couple of times and it appears the next installment will be manufactured by Chinese company Huawei. Images of these future myTouch devices popped up over at PocketNow and are identical minus one having a physical keyboard. Dubbed the U8680 and U8730, these two T-Mobile bound devices are said to be rocking Gingerbread and a WVGA (480×800) resolution display. Other than that, not much is revealed.

Huawei is really looking to become a household name in the mobile market and plans to break into every mobile tier from budget to high-end. Carriers are starting to take notice of Huawei, which isn’t surprising considering their Mobile World Congress mascot was a 19-foot Pegasus made of 3,500 smartphones.

You should see these around May and they’ll be an affordable option for T-Mobile customers on a budget. I’m sure we’ll see more in the coming months so check back later for additional info on the next iteration of myTouch devices.
