Sony has all but confirmed that its midrange Xperia T, Xperia TX, and Xperia V handsets will not be receiving an Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade. All three devices will remain on the latest version of Jelly Bean… at least officially.
Sony’s strange Android-powered selfie camera has been revealed in leaked images ahead of its upcoming debut in Asia. The device is designed to look like a fancy perfume bottle and it has a swiveling Exmor RS sensor with optical image stabilization.
Sony’s third-generation SmartWatch will be announced at IFA 2014 in Berlin next month, according to a new report, and it will bring with it an improved display with a higher pixel density and built-in Wi-Fi. It will also have revamped software, sources claim, but Sony will not be adopting Google’s new Android Wear platform.

But just in case you had any doubts about the handset’s arrival, the South Korean company today sent out new invitations that all but confirm it.
