Samsung’s major overhaul of the Galaxy S6 won’t stop at a brand-new design and vastly improved software. We’re also expecting the best internal components available, including a new rear-facing camera that will have a 20-megapixel sensor and optical image stabilization.

Of course, Samsung won’t confirm that until its Unpacked event on March 1, but the South Korean company has promised that you’ll get effortlessly “amazing pictures” from the Galaxy S6.

By now you should already expect Samsung’s upcoming S6 Edge to be curvier than any of the Galaxy S smartphones that came before it, but reliable sources with “direct knowledge” of the matter have now confirmed it for Bloomberg.

Both the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge will have all-metal bodies and Samsung’s most advanced mobile processors, the report says — but only one will have a “three-sided” display.

It must be one of those weekdays that ends with “day” because Samsung’s copying Apple again.

Unlike Apple, which is more comfortable (and lucrative) than ever with its business strategy, here in 2015 Samsung is having a bit of an identity crisis. Is it a freedom-fighting Internet of Things company making smart refrigerators and connected TVs? Is it a Xiaomi competitor, turning out cheaper smartphones than ever for the developing Indian market?

Like a deer in headlights, the company seems to be skittishly veering from one idea to the next, without any real understanding of what it needs to do to once again be competitive.

Of course, there is one idea that has worked for Samsung in the past, and with its mobile division falling on hard times, that strategy seems to be one the South Korean tech giant is more than happy to return to: copying Apple.
