If you’re upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S4 later this month, but you’re worried you may have to give up some of your tweaks and custom ROMs until it gets rooted, then worry no more. The eight-core Exynos 5 Octa version of the device has already been rooted before it even goes on sale.

There have been rumors for over a year that Facebook is trying to make its own smartphone to compete with the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S3, but we haven’t had much reason to believe in them until now.

Facebook sent out invitations last night to an event on April 4th at its headquarters, where the company will allegedly unveil its own smartphone that was built in partnership with HTC.

For the last two years, Best Buy stores across the country have hosted a mini Apple Store within a store to bring more attention to Apple’s iMacs and MacBooks. As a point of solace from the barrage of tablets, desktop PCs, and laptops in Best Buys busy stores, the little Apple Stores give customers more time and space to play with Apple’s PC products, so Samsung has decided to take a similar approach with their mobile products.

To kick off the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4, Best Buy plans to setup a Samsung store-within-a-store in some of its highest traffic stores. Rather than hawking PC products, the Samsung store-within-a-store will focus on Samsung’s mobile offerings.

Samsung debuted its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone at a press event earlier this month, and now AT&T has announced availability and pricing on its network. The S4 will be available for preorder on AT&T Tuesday, April 16th and sell for $250 with a two-year contract.

“We are proud to offer this iconic device and continue to offer our customers the best smartphone line-up, with a variety of devices for every lifestyle and budget,” said AT&T in a press release. T-Mobile said that it plans to offer the device around May 1st. Still no word from Verizon or Sprint yet.

We still don’t know what storage capacity is being sold for $250, but those kinds of details will likely trickle out closer to launch. You can find out more info and place your preorder on AT&T’s website.
