A Samsung insider has been teasing a mysterious prototype smartphone with a uniquely large screen, which is believed to be a possible Galaxy Note successor. Much like earlier prototypes, this latest one features a 6-inch screen accounting for 84% of the front of the device and an incredibly thin bezel.

One of the highlights of Samsung’s London Premiere event that took place last night was the unveiling of the South Korean company’s first dual-OS tablet, the ATIV Q. As the name suggests, the product is part of Samsung’s ATIV line, which primarily has nothing to do with Android. However, on this occasion the goal was to “marry” both Android and Windows together to create the mother of all computing experiences.

According to a report on a Korean information technology news site, Samsung is planning to reduce the monthly production of the flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone by up to 15 percent, and may even retire the S3 model sooner than originally planned.

The site points to the July order for Galaxy S4 parts, which is half the number of parts placed in May, at 6.5 million handsets ordered. The parts order for April was for 10 million handsets, but has been declining since then, according to ET News.

Samsung is holding a press event in London later on today, and it has a number of new devices up its sleeve for both Android and Windows Phone fans. While the Korean company has already announced a slew of devices this year, it is by no means finished just yet.

You don’t have to be at the event to watch it all unfold, however, because Samsung is live-streaming the whole thing on the Internet.

LG has confirmed that it will use Qualcomm’s latest high-end Snapdragon 800 processor in its next Optimus smartphone. The Snapdragon 800 is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 600, which is currently shipping inside the latest flagship smartphones, including the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4.
