While the Galaxy Note 3’s massive, 5.7-inch displays is great for watching movies and playing games, it makes the handset very difficult to use with one hand. Thankfully, Samsung built a nifty little feature into TouchWiz that shrinks the entire contents of the screen for all those times when you can’t get both your mitts on it.

If you happen to be a fan of what Samsung’s doing with TouchWiz, then you may be interested in a new app that brings the Galaxy S4’s lock screen to other Android-powered smartphones. It’s free and it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and above, and you can download it now from Google Play.

A relatively stable test build of Android 4.3 which was adapted for the European Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) has been leaked on a popular Samsung-orientated website, and has now been made available for the general public to download.

While the iPhone’s Retina display may no longer be king when it comes to pixel count, it’s one of the fastest smartphone displays on the market, easily outpacing all of its rivals.

According to a TouchMark test carried out by Agawi, the Retina display responds more than twice as fast as any of its rivals — including the Galaxy S4 and other high-end Android devices — even on the three-year-old iPhone 4.
