Galaxy Tab 4 10.1

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 has been rumored for quite some time now, but hasn’t been unveiled by the manufacturer yet. We saw the mention of this tablet on the Gear Fit compatibility list, which inadvertently revealed its existence. Today, the 10.1 inch LTE variant of the tablet has just passed through the certification process, hinting at a launch soon.

Samsung has confirmed that its new Galaxy S5 will be available to pre-order in the United Kingdom from Friday, March 28, ahead of its April 11 launch. Fans can register their interest in the device on Samsung’s website to receive a reminder email when the big day arrives.

Samsung unveiled its revamped Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, back in June, 2013, and three months later the device was available to purchase in the U.S. from several retailers for $399. However, if you haven’t had the opportunity or the wherewithal to pick one up before now, it might interest you to know that Walmart is currently offering the device with a $329.99 price tag.

Apple wants Samsung to pay a $40 license fee for every smartphone and tablet it sells after the South Korean company infringed five patents with a number of Galaxy-branded devices.

That’s right… just five patents, $40 for every device. It’s a pretty surprising demand — especially after Apple recently stated that monetary damages were “not an adequate remedy” for Samsung’s patent infringing ways.
