Apple didn’t infringe on Samsung patents, and therefore won’t have to pay any damages, a Tokyo District Court said Tuesday.
Apple has been accused of infringing on data communication patents belonging to Samsung, which featured in Apple’s iPhone 4s, iPhone 4 and iPad 2.
Samsung unveiled its ultra-portable Galaxy Tab 3 variant, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, back in June, 2013, and a month later the device was available to purchase in the U.S. from several retailers for $299. A new report states that LG could be looking to reduce prices of the G Pro 2 and the G2 flagships once the Samsung Galaxy S5 arrives in the market in mid-April.
