Google is planning to add a dedicated ‘Designed for Families’ section to the Play Store that will showcase apps and games that are child- and family-friendly. The company is expected to launch the new section at Google I/O later this week.

Google Keep’s latest update for Android makes it a much more useful note-taking and reminder app with the long-awaited arrival of labels and recurring reminders. In line with the Lollipop design language, the update also delivers a handy new floating action button.

When Google launched its new online store just for devices on Wednesday, the Nexus 5 was dropped from its lineup. Now the search giant has confirmed that the handset has been discontinued, 17 months after it made its initial debut, and that its partners will sell remaining stock.
