Rumors about a black Samsung Galaxy S III have been circulating for a bit now, but beyond the randomly spotted image or two, nothing has been confirmed. That was, until today. U.K. retailer Mobile Fun is the first to announce a price and release date for this now confirmed device.

Verizon has finally given the thumbs up to the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Motorola DROID 4. With support documents now live on their site and a few random reports of it hitting users, it’s safe to say the rollout has begun. It will most likely push in phases, so if you aren’t seeing it right away, don’t go nuts, it’ll get to you soon enough

It’s appearing as the global launch for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will take place the day after the August 15th U.S. event in NYC. This is the second region we’re seeing listed as getting the Note 10.1 on August 16th and so we’re just going to assume the 16th is the magic date.

As the holiday season slowly approaches, the war for budget tablet supremacy is heating up. While the Nexus 7 is hands down the king of budget at this time, market pioneers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble don’t plan on idly sitting by. Both companies are beginning to prepare for their upcoming models as they discount and discontinue current models.

The Ice Cream Sandwich numbers continue to rise as more devices begin rolling out the tasty update. One of the latest devices to receive Android 4.0, is none other than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi edition. Many U.S. owners have already pulled down the update and are once again enjoying their GTab as if it were brand new.
