Samsung-Galaxy-S-IV-3

Samsung’s Galaxy S IV event is “definitely” scheduled for March 14, according to sources familiar with the Korean company’s plans. On Monday, we heard the device would be unveiled on that date at an event in New York City, and those claims have now been “confirmed.” However, it’s still unclear when the device — which is likely to be one of the most successful smartphones of 2013 — will go on sale.

LG-Optimus-G-Pro

LG announced its super-sized Optimus G Pro last week, a 5.5-inch handset that’s coming to do battle with the Samsung Galaxy Note II. The device will be coming to Korea this week, the company has now confirmed, before making its way to North America during Q2 2013.

In addition to its impressive 1080p display, the Optimus G Pro will also be the first smartphone to offer a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, which is the successor to the popular Snapdragon S4 Pro.

HTC-One-M7

The HTC One, which has long been dubbed the HTC M7, has appeared in yet another leaked render. The device looks identical to a render that leaked back in January — and indeed to Apple’s iPhone 5 — only this time it looks to be running HTC’s next-generation Sense 5 user interface.

LG-E435

LG is expected to announce a number of new devices at Mobile World Congress later this month, one of which could be the LG E435, an entry-level smartphone with dual-SIM capabilities that looks pretty miniature in comparison with the rest of today’s devices. The handset has already shown its face, its back end, and its innards in a number of leaked photographs that began circulating this weekend.
