The Tiny LG E435 Shows Its Face Ahead Of MWC Unveiling

LG-E435

LG is expected to announce a number of new devices at Mobile World Congress later this month, one of which could be the LG E435, an entry-level smartphone with dual-SIM capabilities that looks pretty miniature in comparison with the rest of today’s devices. The handset has already shown its face, its back end, and its innards in a number of leaked photographs that began circulating this weekend.

The E435 is said to be one of four smartphones from LG at MWC, and it’s likely to be the most affordable one, too. It certainly won’t be the “breakthrough” device that LG has been teasing recently, that’s for sure.

Android Community reports that the E435 will offer a 3.2-inch WVGA display, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a single-core Snapdragon processor. As you can see from the images above, it also has two SIM card slots, which means it’ll happily juggle personal and professional numbers simultaneously.

The E435 won’t be the most exciting smartphone on show at MWC — and if it is we won’t be going next year — but I’m sure it’ll appeal to budget-conscious smartphone consumers, and emerging markets. It’ll no doubt be of particular interest to business users who need dual-SIM capabilities.
