The Moto X “Try Then Buy” promotion that allowed customers to sample the device for two weeks for just 1¢ has now ended after Motorola “sold all the Moto X phones allotted for this promotion.” The offer went live just this morning, but Motorola did state that it would only be available “while quantities last.”

It’s not all bad news, though; a new 64GB version of the Moto X is available now.

Following its introduction on the Moto E  last month, Motorola has today expanded compatibility of its official Alert application to two more variants of its Android-powered smartphones — the Moto X and Moto G. For those unaware, Moto Alert is a traditional emergency tracker that, simply, ‘alert’s people important to you when you need them.’

Motorola has announced that it be holding a fire sale in the United States on the 32GB Moto X for the next two days (June 4-5), where it will be offering the handset at a $100 discount.

The company has been continuously holding flash sales and giving discounts on the handset since the last few months in a bid to revive its sagging sales.

A report has appeared online disclosing that HTC is currently in the process of designing its first ever smartwatch, with the name One Wear, as a rival to Motorola’s upcoming Moto 360. The wearable piece of technology was recently demoed at a private manufacturers event and is scheduled to hit the shelves somewhere around late August to early September.
