Motorola expands its Alert compatibility to two new smartphones

Following its introduction on the Moto E  last month, Motorola has today expanded compatibility of its official Alert application to two more variants of its Android-powered smartphones — the Moto X and Moto G. For those unaware, Moto Alert is a traditional emergency tracker that, simply, ‘alert’s people important to you when you need them.’

Once Moto Alert has been activated on your handset, periodic notifications containing your location will be pushed to your designated emergency contact/contacts which you selected when configuring the app. However, Alert doesn’t only have to be used in the event of an emergency. It can also be used in everyday life too.

You can determine Home, Work and School locations, which automatically alerts predetermined contacts of your arrival and your departure. That’s pretty useful if you have a child who makes their own way to school.

If you own either a Moto E, Moto G or Moto X and wish to download the Alert application directly from the Google Play Store — hit the source link below.
