Samsung’s pursuit of great design could lead to another iPhone clone if these images, purported to be the handset’s new aluminum frame, turn out to be genuine.

The South Korean company appears to have dropped the sharp, straight edges seen on the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4 for a smoother, more rounded design just like that of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and it looks like the removable back panel is gone, too.

For the first time since making its public debut last November, Android 5.0 Lollipop has finally pushed its way into the latest Android distribution figures. 1.6 percent of devices are now running Google’s latest operating system, but Jelly Bean continues to cling onto the largest share.

Samsung has begun issuing invitations to a Mobile World Congress event on March 1, where the South Korean company is expected to unveil its new Galaxy S6.

The invite includes a picture of what appears to be bent metal — it actually looks a lot like a fork — which could also hint at the arrival of the rumored Galaxy S Edge.

Samsung tablet fans could be in for a treat this year with a super-sized version of the company’s Galaxy Tab S seemingly on the horizon.

An Galaxy Tab S Pro has been spotted in Samsung’s own update notes for the latest release of the Milk Music app, hinting at the impending release of a Super AMOLED slate with a display likely more than 12 inches in size.
