LG has today unveiled the G Flex, its first smartphone with a 6-inch curved plastic OLED display. It’s the “world’s first real curved smartphone,” according to LG — which has clearly chosen to ignore the recently-released Samsung Galaxy Round — and it boasts a “self-healing” back cover that has the ability to recover from daily wear and tear.

We already know that LG is working on its first smartphone with a curved-glass OLED display; the company itself has confirmed it, and we’ve seen a number of leaked press renders. And now the device has been pictured out in the wild with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and buttons on its back.

The company has begun teasing the Xplay3S, its new smartphone that will become the world’s first with a 2K display.

LG has today announced that its new G Pad 8.3 tablet is now on sale in the U.S., priced at $349.99. The device looks a little like a large LG G2, and it features an 8.3-inch 1920×1200 display with 273 pixels-per-inch, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 16GB of internal storage, and a 5-megapixel camera.
