One of the biggest additions to Samsung’s new TouchWiz software is the Theme Store, which lets users ditch their handset’s default look in favor of a third-party design. Now Samsung is looking for designers and brands to create new Galaxy Themes.

So the Consumer Electronics Show is over for another year, and for those who’ve been in Las Vegas covering it for us, it’s back to normality. While we allow the Cult of Mac team to sober up, it’s time to look back at the best gizmos CES had to offer. There were thousands of products on show — far too many to cover in one week — but there were a handful that really stood out.

We’ve put together a list of awesome things that we were blown away by, including smartphones, accessories, gadgets, and more. Check it out and tell us what you’re most looking forward to getting your hands on in 2013.

Lego EV3

Lego Mindstorms has just evolved. The latest announcement from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from the Denmarased toy company is that their popular robotics hardware and software, Mindstorms, is getting a new command module, the EV3. We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your home screen can thank us later. Cheers!

Few things are better than Legos, and even fewer things are better than Android, so what happens when you combine them together — Awesomesauce! This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Lego Bugdroid, in fact, we gave one away back in June. While those Bugdroid kits are cool, it appears one Android/Lego lover has taken his affinity for the Bugdroid one step further. Not only has he created a slightly more intricate Bugdroid figure, but he’s on a mission to have it become an official Lego kit.
