Asus started teasing its new ZenFone earlier this week, ahead of a full reveal at CES 2015 in Las Vegas next month. We were expecting a high-end device with new camera technology that would allow for better low light photos — thanks to its “see what others can’t see” tagline — but what we may end up with could be a lot less exciting, according to the handset’s leaked specifications.

With HTC’s One M9 unveiling expected to happen at CES, it’s no surprise we’re already seeing some leaks; after all, HTC isn’t exactly the best at keeping its upcoming products a secret. According to one reliable source, the handset is going to impress with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 processor, a much-improved rear-facing camera, and the new Sense 7 user interface.

HTC has been hard at work on its Lollipop update for the One M8 since Google made the Android 5.0 firmware available to hardware makers, and it has promised that users would see it within 90 days of the AOSP release. The design of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S6 may be under lock and key, but its specifications are already appearing in AnTuTu benchmarks. If the results are true, fans can expect a 5.5-inch 2K display, Samsung’s new 64-bit processor, and a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will get its Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade by the end of this year, according to one European carrier, while the Galaxy Note 4 will get the same release in January. The rollouts will make Samsung’s flagship Galaxy devices some of the first third-party smartphones to get Google’s latest Android software.
