An Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is currently making its way to international Samsung Galaxy Note devices in Canada and the United Kingdom. Users on Bell, Rogers, and TELUS in Canada have all seen the update, as have those with an unlocked device in the U.K.

It has taken its time, but the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S III is finally making its way to 3G handsets on Australian’s Telstra. This is the “Premium Suite” package that brings Multi-Window, Page Buddy, contextual menus, Best Face, and a whole lot more to Samsung’s flagship smartphone.

Samsung has begun rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to two of its tablet in the United States. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 both began receiving the upgrade over the weekend, following its debut on European devices. As you’d expect, this software comes with a whole host of new features and improvements.

Samsung has begun rolling out a software patch to address a major security flaw with its Exynos processor that leaves a handful of Android handsets vulnerable to attack. The update is first reaching Galaxy S III owners in the United Kingdom, but we would expect Samsung to be working hard to make this one available worldwide as quickly as possible.

The update is reaching international handsets first with the GT-I9300 model number, and it introduces a whole host of new features — including things like Multi Window, Page Buddy, a Facebook ticker for your lock screen, and lots more.
