Samsung has today begun rolling out its Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to the international Galaxy S III (GT-I9300), just weeks after the update was made available to Galaxy S4 owners. The release brings a whole host of new features and improvements, including Galaxy Gear support, the ability to move apps to the SD card, and lots of user interface updates.

Yesterday, Google published the latest distribution figures of the Android operating system which ran over a 7-day period. The numbers reveal a consistent growth in the amount of Android users running Jelly Bean, whilst older versions of the operating system continue on their path towards extinction.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is currently only compatible with the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S4, but of course, if Samsung wants to get it into as many hands as possible, it’s going to need to change that. So it’s no surprise to see it will soon be compatible with the rest of the Galaxy S4 variants, and the Galaxy Mega as well.

Following its delay last week, T-Mobile has at last officially started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.3 over-the-air (OTA) update to all of its carrier-branded HTC One handsets located in the U.S.

Last week, the President of HTC America, Jason Mackenzie, took to Twitter to announce that the much-anticipated Android 4.3 update for the T-Mobile U.S. branded HTC One would roll out by the “middle” of last week. But unfortunately for T-Mo customers that did not happen as planned. For an unspecified reason, the update has been unexpectedly delayed until today, Monday, October 21, when it is expected to roll out sometime before this afternoon.
