I’m sure you don’t remember, but back in March, ARCHOS announced a budget Android 4.0 device for kids called the ChildPad. Fast forward to today, and it’s now finally available for purchase. The ChildPad allows parents to give their children the educational and fun experience of a mobile media device without having to break the bank or their personal high-cost device.

The Ice Cream sandwich rollouts are beginning to make the rounds as we get closer to the summer months, and today, Sony has started pushing out Android 4.0 to the Xperia Arc and Xperia Neo. So far, Sony has kept their promise of updates, with the exception of the Xperia PLAY, which had to be canned after extensive testing proved the release to be unstable. Not only has the Xperia Arc and Neo begun receiving Ice Cream Sandwich, but a slew of other devices which were previously updated to 4.0.3, are now being bumped up to Android 4.0.4.

T-Mobile has announced the availability of a certain tasty treat for HTC Amaze 4G owners. That’s right, Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich, is now available for the HTC Amaze 4G. To check for the update, simply go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > HTC Software Updates > Check. Follow the instructions and you’ll be on your way to enjoying the latest and greatest version of Android.

Unless you have an ASUS device, you’re probably waiting to be updated to Android 4.0. While Motorola did manage to bring Ice Cream Sandwich to the XOOM, they’ve left the rest of their devices in update limbo. In an effort to calm user frustration, Motorola has updated their Ice Cream Sandwich schedule — as if that helps. It appears the RAZR brand will see Android 4.0 sometime in Q2, while the DROID 4 won’t be seeing Ice Cream Sandwich until Q3.

Last month, Samsung added a new FAQ section to outline which devices would be receiving Ice Cream Sandwich, and while all the major carriers were listed, T-Mobile was the only one lacking any information. That section has finally been updated and we now have an idea of which T-Mobile Samsung devices will be getting the Android 4.0 update.
