Thanks to Apple, every manufacturer now feels like they need their own voice assistant and so begins the borderline mental illness campaign of conversing with your phone. Samsung announced their own version S-Voice, which is launching with the new Samsung Galaxy S III in a couple of days. Now, LG has decided to jump on the voice wagon by announcing their own voice assistant service Quick Voice.

Here we go… Apparently high demand for the Samsung Galaxy S III is causing a bit of a shipping delay for U.S. carriers. A trend we usually only see with Verizon, has now trickled down to other major carriers, who have been sending out announcements left and right to warn customers of possible delays.

Verizon has dropped the price of the HTC Rezound to a mere $80 just in time for summer. We’re sure it has more to do with Verizon’s upcoming lineup, bu hey, a deal is a deal. It’s actually a better deal than both Amazon Wireless and Wirefly have at the moment, which is surprising.

LG has made a wise decision to halt all tablet development in favor of focusing on its smartphones. LG is already a company lagging behind in the mobile wars, and frankly, releasing any Android tablet other than the Nexus 7 at this point, is like tossing it straight into the recycling bin.
