Google has already made some tweaks to Lollipop since its initial debut back in November, but the search giant is said to be planning major improvements and new features that are expected to arrive early next year. In addition to bringing back silent mode, Android 5.1 is to improve RAM management, fix sudden app closures, and enhance stability.

After upgrading its flagship Galaxy S5 to Lollipop, Samsung is hard at work on bringing Google’s latest software update to the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge.
