Google’s Technology Ambassador thinks using Apple Maps might kill you

Michael T. Jones has a helluva fun job. He’s the Chief Technology Ambassador for Google, and as such, he not only gets to work for one of the coolest companies in the world, he also gets to cruise around the world and tell people why Google is so darn awesome.

When it comes to Apple, you would think that Michael Jones would have some really mean things to say. In a recent interview with ABC News in Australia, Michael Jones actually praised Apple and said that customers can trust Apple with their private data. But then he added that using Apple Maps might kill you.

Wunderlist 2 has finally been released for Android tablets today, almost two months after it made its debut on iOS, Mac, and PC. Arguably the best free task management app, Wunderlist 2 boasts a whole host of awesome new features, and it’s been optimized to run perfectly on Google’s Nexus tablets, the Amazon Kindle Fire, and other Android-powered slates.

Google is expected to release its Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update later this month, making performance and stability improvements that will first arrive on the Nexus 4, the Nexus 7, the Nexus 10, and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Following weeks of delays and supply constraints, it appears Google and LG have finally caught up with Nexus 4 demand. The device became available to order again through Google Play on Wednesday, and it’s still available to order two days later. Furthermore, customers in the United Kingdom are reporting that they’ve had their devices delivered less than 48 hours after they ordered them.

Mobile chip maker Qualcomm has inadvertently confirmed the spring unveiling of Key Lime Pie — the next-generation of Android — in a leaked document that details the development of Google’s platform. We had expected Google’s announcement to come at Google I/O in May anyway, but this should quash any doubts you may have had.
