Less than 24-hours after Google officially announced a shedload of new products, features and functionality it’ll be adding to its rapidly-growing Android ecosystem in the coming weeks, the search engine giant has now uploaded the first batch of companion applications to the Play Store for us to download and acquaint ourselves with — even though the actual goods aren’t available just yet.

Project Tango development kit

Earlier this month, Google had unveiled the Project Tango development tablet costing a whopping $1024. The tablet comes with a multitude of sensors and cameras allowing it to see the world around it in 3D.

Google gave the attendees at I/O a look at the development Project Tango tablet in action and also revealed that it would be releasing a consumer version of the tablet with LG — slated to go on sale sometime next year. 

Android-5-Lollipop

Google will preview its next Android update at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco this morning, and according to sources familiar with its plans, it’ll be called Android 5.0 “Lollipop.”

Google will several big announcements during its Google I/O keynote today — and one of them will almost certainly be about Android TV.

Sources familiar with the plans claim we’ll see “at least one” set-top box powered by the search giant’s latest entertainment platform during the event. In addition to playing movies and music, they’ll also allow users to play Android games through their TVs.

Minuum-Moto-360

Minuum’s space-saving keyboard is being optimized for the Moto 360 smartwatch, its creators confirmed today. The circular keyboard will allow Moto 360 users to reply to texts and instant messages without pulling their smartphone out of their pocket, but does anyone really want to use a keyboard so small?
