KitKat-big

Last week, Google released the Developer Preview builds of Android L for the Nexus 5 and the Wi-Fi variant of Nexus 7 (2013). Even though this was a developer preview, it did not stop many impatient Android lovers from installing it on their device.

Now, if you are done with most of your app crashing and random bugs ruining your Android L experience, and are wondering how to go back to Android 4.4 KitKat, follow the instructions below.

Google has expanded its “OK Google” hotword recognition functionality from the homescreen to nine other new languages. Earlier, the hotword detection was only available to English speaking users in the U.K, US and Canada, with support for French and German users added very recently.

Renowned leaker, @Evleaks, took to Twitter earlier today to bestow upon us some more information with regards to Google’s next Nexus tablet, codenamed Volantis, which we believe will be designed and manufactured by HTC. We first heard about the device last month when we were sent an early render and some alleged specifications, but it turns out that the initial documentation was in fact incorrect. From the details we now have  it looks like Google is attempting to develop the world’s most powerful tablet.

A system dump of Android L, courtesy of the Developer Preview images released by Google, has been uploaded online allowing Android users to get their hands on some new goodies from the upcoming version of Android right away.

This includes the new keyboard, wallpapers, fonts and other updated Google Apps like Play Services, Search and Play Store.

Less than 24 hours after the Android L developer preview images were released by Google, SuperSU developer Chainfire has managed to gain root access on it.

While Chainfire was previously worried that the next version of Android might effectively kill root, his findings have turned out to be wrong since the process pretty much remains the same with only a minor modification required to SuperSU.
