Google has begun issuing invitations for a September 15 event in India where it is expected to announced the first crop of Android One devices built specifically for emerging markets. The handsets are expected to go on sale next month, with prices starting at just $100.

Samsung has reached an agreement with Nokia to secure exclusive rights to its HERE maps service as it looks to give its Android users a new alternative to Google Maps. The new HERE app for Android will only be available on Galaxy-branded smartphones and tablets, and there will be a HERE companion app for Samsung’s new Gear S smartwatch.

AT&T has halted its rollout of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the HTC One M8, just days after it began releasing it to customers over-the-air. It seems the current build introduces a nasty bug that causes severe battery drain, and AT&T hasn’t yet confirmed when a new one will be available.

An official Pandora app is now available for Google Glass, allowing you to enjoy and control Internet radio on your eyewear using only your voice (and your ears, obviously). Initially built only as a hack-a-thon project and never really intended for public use, Google liked the app so much it made it an official Glass add-on.

Dropbox today increased its maximum storage option to 1TB for Dropbox Pro subscribers and introduced a bunch of new features while maintaining its monthly subscription charge at just $9.99. It’s part of the company’s effort to better compete with rival cloud-based storage services like Google Drive.
