BlackBerry rolled out the first public update for its official BBM application on the Google Play Store last night, bumping the version up to 1.0.0.72. The upgrade brings a multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements, in addition to support for a mass of additional Android-powered devices.

BlackBerry says it is working with Google to remove fake, five-star BBM reviews that have been submitted to Google Play. The reviews were submitted the day that BBM became available on Android, and every single one says the same thing in broken English.
