Google Play 4.4 Update Rolling Out Now

Google-Play-4-4

Late last week, we got an early glimpse at Google’s new Google Play 4.4 update for Android thanks to a leaked APK that had made its way into the wild. We didn’t expect to see the update’s final release until after Google had announced the new Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat, but it’s already rolling out to the public.

The update introduces a new slide-out navigation menu that provides you with quick and easy access to your apps, your wish list, the “redeem” page, and different sections of the Google Play store. It’s not a drastic change — certainly not the KitKat overhaul we were expecting — but it’s a nice improvement.

The update is rolling out now to all users, but like most updates to Google apps, it will come in phases. If you can’t wait for it to reach your device, you can download the APK from Android Police by clicking the source link below, and install it manually.
