NVIDIA has all but confirmed an HTC Nexus 9 tablet packing its 64-bit Tegra K1 processor by mentioning the device in a lawsuit filed against Qualcomm and Samsung. The chip maker expects the tablet to begin shipping during the third quarter of 2014, and some believe it could be announced at HTC’s “Double Exposure” event on October 9.

Today’s selection for our weekly Wednesday’s Must Have Game column is Swamp Attack. It originally launched for Android back in January, 2014, and has since racked up a bunch of hefty updates crammed full of great features — helping to make it one of the best and most advanced action games currently available on the market.

While the new Apple Watch may deliver a few features that might make Google and its Android Wear partners a little shaky, its $350 price tag certainly won’t be one of them. Every Android Wear watch we’ve seen so far has been considerably more affordable, and Google has this week make the gap even greater by making the LG G Watch just $179 through Google Play.

Netflix is currently in the midst of pushing out an essential compatibility update for its official Android client via the Google Play Store. In terms of added functionality, this upgrade brings Chromecast support, in addition to mobile integration for the extremely popular Post-Play web feature.

Amazon Prime Instant Video has finally arrived in Google Play, allowing those without Kindle Fire tablets to enjoy on-demand movies and TV shows on their Android-powered smartphones and tablets. The service is available to Prime customers in the U.S., the U.K., and other countries.
