Asus started teasing its new ZenFone earlier this week, ahead of a full reveal at CES 2015 in Las Vegas next month. We were expecting a high-end device with new camera technology that would allow for better low light photos — thanks to its “see what others can’t see” tagline — but what we may end up with could be a lot less exciting, according to the handset’s leaked specifications.

Asus is bringing its latest ZenFone to CES 2015, and it is promising some innovative new camera technology that can “see what others can’t see.” The device makes a brief appearance in two short video clips Asus has already posted to Facebook, but we’ll have to wait until next month for its full reveal.

With the Galaxy Note Edge’s curved display being well received by both consumers and critics, you can expect Samsung to use the same technology in future handsets. In fact, according to some sources familiar with its plans, the upcoming Galaxy S6 will have a display that curves on both sides — as well as an all-aluminum chassis.

Samsung could be planning to bring forward the unveiling of its much-improved Galaxy S6 by making a surprise appearance at CES 2015 in January. Sources familiar with the company’s plans in South Korea say a second device — a Galaxy S6 Edge — will also be shown off alongside it.

LG is expected to finally launch a second-generation G Flex at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, more than a year after the original brought curved smartphone displays to the masses. The device will be a “major upgrade” over its predecessor, sources claim, and it will maintain the self-healing coating the G Flex has become famous for.
