I seriously can’t praise Amazon Wireless enough for the amazing deals they offer on smartphones. Anyone looking to purchase a phone should really consider checking out Amazon Wireless before making any decisions because they really do offer the best prices. In fact, throughout the month of March, every Sprint 4G smartphone is on sale for a penny. Not only can you get a new phone for a penny but if you purchase before March 19th, Amazon will also waive the activation fee (a $36 deal).

For many, the Amazon MP3 app is nothing but a distant relic, for others it remains a top-notch viable solution for their music needs. If you still look to Amazon MP3 for your music needs, you’ll be happy to know they have updated their Android application with a couple of new UI changes among other things.

Amazon has announced a new licensing deal with Viacom that will allow Amazon Prime members to stream TV shows to over 300 devices, including the Kindle Fire. Members will have access to thousands of episodes from hit shows on MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, TV Land, Spike, VH1, BET, CMT and Logo. This just adds to the slew of content already available to Amazon Prime members, which from what I’m told is an excellent deal.

SlingPlayer is probably the single most expensive app I’ve ever purchased, but it’s also the best app I’ve ever purchased. It’s been available in the Android Market for quite some time, but unfortunately for those who own an Amazon Kindle Fire, they don’t have access to the Android Market and thus have not had access to the SlingPlayer app. That all changes tomorrow, when SlingPlayer will become available for the Kindle Fire via the Amazon App Store. The app is still the same $30 it was when I purchased it and still requires a Slingbox, but is completely worth it if you wish to have your TV with you everywhere you go.

Deals on top-tier phones have been abundant lately and Amazon seems to be swimming in them. Another doozy from Amazon has the HTC Rezound for an amazing $79.99. Of course that’s with a a new 2-year contract, but if you’re looking to upgrade, it’ll still only cost you $159. This is a great deal for a phone that just recently received a nice update as well as an unlockable bootloader.
