TiVo has today updated its Android app to finally add support for video streaming from your DVR to supported smartphones and tablets. The feature gives users the ability to begin watching live and recorded shows on their TV at home, and then continue enjoying them on their mobile devices when they leave the house.

Amazon Prime Instant Video has finally arrived in Google Play, allowing those without Kindle Fire tablets to enjoy on-demand movies and TV shows on their Android-powered smartphones and tablets. The service is available to Prime customers in the U.S., the U.K., and other countries.

Amazon has discounted the Fire Phone to $0.99 on contract just three months after it first went on sale for $199. The move follows lukewarm reviews and a report that revealed less than 35,000 Fire Phones had been sold during its first two months of availability.

UPDATE: The Fire Phone is now available to pre-order on O2.

The Amazon Fire Phone’s exclusivity to the U.S. market will be short-lived with the device set to go on sale in the U.K. later this month, just three months after it first made its debut. It’s expected to be exclusive to O2, and sources say an announcement could be made as early as this week.

The Motorola Moto X+1 has been pictured again ahead of its official unveiling this week, revealing a number of mysterious sensors positioned around its display. New information on the device also indicates that the Motorola logo on its back will be a shortcut button that users will be able to reprogram to their liking.
