Sony devices traditionally launch exclusively via T-Mobile in the U.S. And we recently saw the Xperia T2 Ultra carrying T-Mobile’s bands making its way to the FCC. This smartphone with the model number D5316 has now been cleared by the authorities and could be launching soon.

The beauty of Android is that manufacturers can innovate in terms of hardware with complete liberty. We’ve seen this happening with camera sensors, processors and even RAM modules of late. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the first to push the envelope with 3GB of RAM and now we’re hearing that Chinese manufacturer ZTE could take it even further with 4GB of RAM for its upcoming smartphone.

LG, slightly earlier than anticipated, is currently in the midst of rolling out the eagerly-awaited Android 4.4.2 KitKat over-the-air (OTA) update to all models of its flagship smartphone, the G Flex, currently located in the United States. In terms of added functionality, the upgrade brings KitKat and Knock Code to the handset, complete with the usual bug fixes, speed optimizations and stability improvements that we’ve grown to expect from any major software update.
